Windy Hill Development was featured in the Houston Business Journal on June 27 with news breaking about The Grove, a 300-acre community planned near Sealy. In an interview, with HBJ Growth Editor Florian Martin, Windy Hill CEO Randy Hall spoke about the development which will allow for 1,300 homes.
“We’re not the pioneer out there — (D.R.) Horton has done very well south of I-10 in their Westward Pointe, as has First America,” Hall said. “But we’re probably the third master-planned-communities developer that’s landed in Sealy, so we see ourselves at the forefront, along with Horton and First America, at delivering some really, really nice product to that market.”
The Grove will be located on the northwestern corner of FM 1094 and Frazer Road. Windy Hill acquired the land in April and is currently working with Austin County on entitlements and development of a municipal utility district (MUD). Read the complete story from Houston Business Journal here.
